“We place goalkeepers in training environments that have won the University of North Carolina Women’s Soccer team 20 of 28 NCAA National Titles and the US National Team a world championship! By putting keepers through the same proven system, we hope to elevate their game in the same way we have taken the UNC and National Teams to new heights.” – ANSON DORRANCE
2020 > UNC Girl’s Soccer Goalkeeper Camp > CBPA – GK June 19 – 22 | July 16 – 19 | July 20 – 23
JRE – GK June 19 – 22 | July 16 – 19 | July 20 – 23
Our objective is to create a training environment that challenges all levels of goalkeeping. The training academy will emphasize the skills and tactical understanding necessary to prepare for the challenges of collegiate soccer goalkeeping or your own personal highest level of soccer.
Goalkeepers are trained in the proper techniques for shot stopping, footwork, hand positioning, fitness, diving, handling crosses and cornerkicks, and more. They are then put into highly competitive scenarios like 11v11 games, 4v4, 1v1 and more to develop these techniques under pressure. In addition, the tactics of the position are also a priority. They are evaluated by their staff coaches throughout the week and provided with comprehensive feedback about their performance.
